Description

Softwood plywood is manufactured through a process of laminating thin sheets of softwood veneer together. Softwood plywood is strong and highly resistant to impact. It retains its dimensions in varying climates, yet remains easy to screw and nail without cracking. Plywood is highly resistant to shearing, twisting and warping.

Veneers are sliced and prepared into “Flitches” ready for the veneering process. Multiple layers of wood veneer are laid in alternating or aligned configurations, dependant on the purpose intended for end use. Glue is then applied to bond the veneer, which is then compressed to create a laminated panel.

Ideal for flat roofs, shed roofs, shuttering and various types of general work.
